HBO’s Chernobyl dominates
Chernobyl swept the board in this year’s BAFTA TV Awards 2020 nominations, announced today.
The HBO and Sky Atlantic miniseries is up for 14 awards, including Leading Actor for Jared Harris and Supporting Actor for Stellan Skarsgard.
A good year for Netflix
Meanwhile Netflix’s dramatised biography of the British royals, The Crown, has seven nominations, including nods to Josh O’Connor and Helena Bonham-Carter for their supporting roles as Prince Charles and Princess Margaret.
